Co-hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China Chamber of International Commerce, and Shenzhen municipal government, the 2^nd China （Shenzhen）International Industrial Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Shenzhen CIIF) last from April 24^th to 27^th, 2010 in China South City. Covering an area of 72.000m², the 2^nd Shenzhen CIIF has set 8 professional exhibition zones, including China International Industrial Design Zone, Security Products Trading Zone and Electronics and Telecommunication Zone, etc. The fair has attracted 1200 enterprises and organizations from 32 countries and regions.

During the 4-day fair, 17 trade consulting conferences (Security Products Consulting Conference, Consulting Conferences for Supermarket Purchasing & Projects, International Trade Matching Conference for Cooperation & Purchasing in Light Industry Projects, etc) and 4 investment promotions (Investment Promotion for Development Opportunities of China Flax Capital, Investment Promotion of Chinese Branded Product in Hungary, etc) were held, aggregating to as many as 24 activities. Besides, 12 forums were also held in the fair, such as the 2^nd Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macao Energy Conservation & Emission Reduction Forum, Forum on Outstanding Enterprise Management & Domestic Consumption Strategies, and the 1^st Financial Service Forum for Small & Medium Sized Enterprises..

Over 100.000 visitors and 40.000 professional buyers came to the fair, and as is told by the Organization Committee the total amount of transactions has reached 2.5 billion RMB. (Source: Information Times)
