In accordance with the organizing committee of China (Shenzhen) International Industrial fair (CIIF), North Korean and South Korean institutional representatives have confirmed that, they will organize government delegations to attend the 2nd Shenzhen Industrial Fair during 22nd and 25th April, 2010. Such decision was made after on-the-spot investigation of China South City by the Representatives of Technology and Commerce Institution from Denmark, Burma, Belgium, South Korea, France, North Korea, United States, Spain, Egypt and Rwanda. CIIF is held in China South City. By then, government delegations from North Korea and South Korea will be gathered in CIIF at its first time.
Mr. Ri KyongSu, the chief representative of Shenzhen Office, Korea Science Corporation said:“we’ve been seeking in-depth cooperative opportunities with Shenzhen. Under the strong recommendation of Shenzhen Municipal government, we have known China South City through Shenzhen Industrial fair. After deep contact with this trading platform, we believe that China South City has the potential to establish an internationally influential exhibition. Moreover, we hope to not only show the image of North Korea via this platform, allowing more and more Chinese people and overseas friends know more about North Korea from different aspects, but also promote political and economic cooperation between North Korea and China. Therefore, we will organize three government delegations to exhibit on CIIF and will also invite effective buyers to the CIIF, as well as establish in-depth cooperation with multi parties.
Mr. KING Kim, the Chief Representative of South Korea Association for the Promotion of Economics and Trade Representative Office in Shenzhen,expressed: “China (Shenzhen) Industrial Fair will have a strong and positive influence on promoting a higher level economic and trade relationship between South Korea and China. During the last visit in China South City, when the 1st CIIF was held, American, Spanish and French Representatives communicated and exchanged ideas with each other. The delegates showed great interests and expectations on this trading platform, which had urged the decision to organize groups to participate in the fair. We believe that there will be more international cooperation opportunities for us via CIIF.”
The Vice General Manager of China South City Company Limited Mr. Kuang Kunlin expressed that CIIF has received a high-level recognition from the delegates of those countries. The United State, Burma and South Korea have shown their intention to build up national exhibition pavilions in China South City for their product displaying in long term. The organizing committee will constitute relevant policies and complete related facilities to the establishment of pavilions from America, Burma and South Korea.
